Products Description
TL6500H is our 6.5-metre timber grapple crane, built to turn an ordinary farm tractor into a self-sufficient wood handler. Everything hangs off the three-point hitch, the PTO supplies the oil flow, and the boom does the work that used to take two men with chains and hooks. We ship this model in two basic directions: to European firewood yards and sawmills that load all day, and to South American farms where the same machine clears paddocks and loads trucks on slopes. The base spec is the same for both; the options are where the machine adapts.

The reach
The boom reaches 6.5 metres from the hitch, and that number decides what the machine can do on a job. From one parked position the grapple covers a full trailer bed, reaches over the sides to grab, and stacks the next row without the tractor moving. Long stems that would make a smaller loader lean forward are handled with the boom held short and the hydraulics doing the lifting.
The grapple head
The head rotates continuously, so the tines can be squared up to the log before they close - you position the load, not the other way round. That matters when a trailer is half full and the next log has to drop into a gap, not just anywhere on the bed.
Controls
The standard control is a mechanical valve block - direct lever travel, no solenoids, and any fault you can trace with a spanner. The joystick conversion is popular with European operators who run the boom for hours at a stretch; it keeps the second hand free for steering. Both layouts are pre-tuned at the factory, so the dealer's installation work stays bolt-on.
Built for hot climates
On the option sheet, the oil cooler is a single line. On a South American job site it is the difference between steady cycles and a machine that fades by mid-afternoon. We fit it at the factory as a matter of course on tropical deliveries unless the buyer says otherwise - the extra radiator cost is small next to an afternoon of lost loading.
