Extendable Rear Frame & Telescopic Chassis
To provide flexibility for transport contractors handling diverse timber lengths without buying separate trailers, the TT12000 features a built-in frame extension system:
- Adjustable Bed Length: The rear cross-member can be unlocked and extended horizontally, adding extra frame length to accommodate longer sawlogs securely.
- Optimal Weight Distribution: Adjusting the chassis extension prevents excessive rear overhang, maintaining proper tongue weight on the tractor drawbar.
- Heavy-Wall Steel Tubing: Structural extension tubes are built from high-tensile structural steel to resist sagging or twisting under maximum 12-ton payloads.
Heavy-Duty Down-Folding W-Type Stabilizers
Lifting heavy timber at a full 7.8-meter radius creates enormous lateral torque. The TL7800 system utilizes heavy-duty down-folding outriggers to guarantee operational stability:
- Wide Ground Footprint: Outrigger legs deploy downward and outward to form a wide base stance, preventing trailer tilting even on soft forest soils.
- Independent Dual Cylinders: Each leg is operated via independent hydraulic valves, allowing the operator to level the trailer chassis on uneven inclines or slopes.
- Protected Rod Geometry: Cylinder rods are oriented internally to guard polished hydraulic chrome against impact from falling logs or rocks.
